Cool! Well I usually have the cards on me most of the time (addict/ hopeful much ) and offering to moderate a game...

That's great Nadine, just say when you would like to play and we'll try to get a group together :) (a quiet group we hope!)

There was talk of perhaps holding this in a park as to not disrupt those serious gamers and enjoy the British sunshine (if it lasts) Would LoBsters be willing to leave the comfort of the Red Herring? As a suggestion, maybe Sunday the 8th?

That sounds brilliant! Sunday 8th works for me.There was talk of perhaps holding this in a park as to not disrupt those serious gamers and enjoy the British sunshine (if it lasts)

The Old Star is right next to St James Park so that should be easy to arrange!

That choice of date calls for a seasonal re-theming: Night falls, and the happy fluffy bunnies fall asleep in their burrow... I'll be sorry to miss it, but I'm away over Easter. Next time!

Well if many people are away over Easter, maybe it's best to put it for the week after (15th). Those hungry wolves can wait a bit longer...

The 15th is better for me also, and meeting at the Old Star before trekking off would be good. The only thing I'm worried about is the by passers watching this group of strange folk lynching each other and getting killed by werewolves!

Howdy! Loved by many, hated by plenty… … but how about some Werewolf? Perhaps this is a little outside the scope of LoB, but if enough folks are interested maybe we could set up dedicated sessions from time to time!

I haven't actually played a live version of werewolf so I might be interested if we have enough people.

Hi Nadine, We actually played (and by 'played' I mean 'were scarred for life by') this at our recent Eastbourne weekend. Click here and also here for reviews of that experience - if you dare. Since even the tamest of sessions involves at least eight people and quite a bit of shouting, it doesn't lend itself well to being played at one of our midweek nights - but if you want to get a group of people together to play something that falls outside the scope of LoB, this discussion board is usually a good place to start the ball rolling. Given what we went through at Eastbourne, I'm not sure if anyone is still keen. Anyone? Anyone? Ronan? Jobeda? Anyone?

I would rather play Tigris and Euphrates

I see! I don't dare ask what actually happened. Sure it involves a fair bit of accusations, finger-pointing and lying... but the same goes for games like the Resistance.Hi Nadine, We actually played (and by 'played' I mean 'were scarred for life by') this at our recent Eastbourne weekend. Well, I'd be keen to do it again, despite the scars. I think Jeroen is wrong, it doesn't need to involve shouting, though it is louder than the average Eurogame, and takes more space. It might be disruptive on a midweek night, but probably no more so than Resistance, which is quite often played. We'll only know if we try.

Funny enough I liked it and wouldn't mind another go. Bar + Weekend Break + Saturday Night + Werewolf = Noise But I don't see why it would be louder than some other games played :)* * Or is that me being hopeful?

I've never played werewolf, and would like to try, although I must admit, I am not a huge fan of the resistance

I'd also be interested in playing a bit of werewolf should any be organised, haven't really played it since I was back at school though I can't exactly recall those games as particularly fine examples of the science of deduction.

A clarification: Discussion is an essential part of Werewolf - and the later in the evening you play it, the louder it gets. I agree that there is no inherent reason why it should be loud. It's just that it always seems to turn out that way. Ditto The Resistance.
